Membership Application Process

    Survey Members

    Restaurant organizations who would like to be considered for CRTRA membership must submit an application for membership. Prospective members must meet the following requirements for approval:

    1. The primary focus of the business must be the operation (either through direct ownership or franchising) of one or more restaurant chains.

    2. They must operate (either through direct ownership or franchising) at least 5 restaurants within at least one category/concept listed below:

      1. Quick Service Restaurants
      2. Casual Dining
      3. Family Dining
      4. Quick Casual
      5. Fine Dining
      6. Polished Casual
    3. Members must participate in the Association's annual "Compensation Survey" by submitting compensation data on a least 25% of the positions including the Restaurant/Unit Manager and Multi-Unit Manager.

    4. Members who elect NOT to participate in the Association's annual "Compensation Survey" by submitting compensation data on at least twenty-five percent of the positions to include the Restaurant/Unit Manager and Multi-Unit Manager will pay an additional $200 membership fee for the year(s) that they fail to participate, and they will be charged a higher fee to attend the annual conference than participating members.

    Organizations who would like to apply for membership should contact the CRTRA Membership Director or President (phone and e-mail address can be found on the Board Members page). You may also complete the membership application form. The application form will provide assistance in determining if you have a sufficient number of job matches to be eligible for membership consideration for CRTRA.

    The membership application outlines the position covered by the annual CRTRA Compensation Survey. Please indicate which of the positions you are able to match within your own organization and submit electronically, or if you prefer, please fax or e-mail your completed application to the CRTRA Membership Director or President. At that time, you may also request a copy of the most recent annual conference agenda and a listing of the previous compensation survey participants.

    If approved for membership by the CRTRA Board, your first year cost will include the annual membership fees and you will have the opportunity to participate in the CRTRA survey. If you join after the survey cycle, the survey results can be purchased a 1.5 times the cost of participating organizations.

    As a member, you will receive an address and contact listing of all other member companies for networking purposes, the option to participate in the Association's annual Benefits Survey, the annual Total Remuneration Survey and two spot surveys per year.

    Duration: 1 Year

    Dues: $300/calendar year

    Vendor Members

    A corporate entity that does not fit the criteria of a Survey Member, but would like to support the Association, and form an affiliation, with its annual Corporate/Vendor Partner fee. 

    Duration: 1 Year

    Dues: $600/calendar year
